The video was taken at field installation (storage terminal) during a rain event. The system is used to monitor for fuel or oil in the stormwater discharge stream from floating roof tank drains. If fuel or oil is detected in the water, a remote alert is sent to facility personnel and valve(s) are automatically closed, containing polluted water prior to release to the dike and surrounding area.
