Model WTG904 series of wave and tide gauges are based on highly accurate silicon semiconductor strain gauge pressure sensors. The pressure sensor is isolated from the installation environment by an oil-filled chamber. The sensor and electronics are contained within a rugged corrosion resistant housing. Available configurations include: Direct reading or internal memory, Analog or Digital output, internal or external processing, internal or external power supply. Analysis of significant wave height, period and tide parameters, or complete statistical wave analysis available. Operating software and mounting hardware also available. The WTG904 Series 1, 2, 3, and 4 instruments measure waves in the period between 3 seconds (0.3 Hz) to 30 seconds (0.033 Hz) using a 2 Hz Sampling Rate and output Wave Height, Period and Tide. For measuring shorter period waves, 5 Hz and 10 Hz sampling rates are also available. |
| The WTG904 Series can be used with existing communication and spreadsheet software for graphic and tabular data display and editing. Utilize software programs such as Procomm, LabView, Quattro Pro, Excel, Lotus1-2-3, MatLab, or any program that accepts comma delimited data files. |
