The T-169 Transducer is a deep ocean hydrophone/projector for use at frequencies above 10kHz. The unit has an integral mounting base and is easily assembled into line or space arrays. The Model T-169 uses a lead zirconate titanate ceramic element encapsulated in polyurethane. At shallow depths, the T-169 will function satisfactorily as a hydrophone even at lower frequencies. This low cost transducer has a variety of applications in research and general acoustic measurement work. |
