The T-111 Transducer is a general purpose transducer capable of an operating depth of 1,000 meters. It is small and rugged and has a flat frequency response. The T-111 employs an integrally mounted connector and is supplied with the mating connector and locking sleeve on a six-foot length of cable. This makes the transducer easily adapted to hydrophone arrays, special acoustic equipment, and other similar applications. The flat transmit sensitivity per watt over the range of 20 kHz to 40 kHz makes the T-111 well suited as a projector. Constructed of high-impact epoxy, the T-111 is immune to seawater corrosion and physical abuse. |
