The R-748 Hydrophone is designed for deep ocean applications. The hydrophone is polyurethane encapsulated and oil-filled. The unit was originally designed for use in large hydrophone arrays for deep ocean sonar research. It has found many other uses where unlimited depth capability and uniform sensitivity is required. |
