|
TEMPSAL is an advanced, continuously indicating instrument for measuring salinity and temperature. A linearized thermistor is used to measure temperature to a precision of +/- 0.02 deg C. Salinity computation is derived from measuring the conductivity and temperature of the sea water sample in the flow through chamber. TEMPSAL is extremely valuable on small fishing vessels, in inlet and outlet pumping systems at power plants, industrial effluent monitoring, on coastal research vessels, in large aquarium facilities and on aquaculture farms. |
