Series 1800 Aluminum Subsurface Buoy InterOcean Series 1800 Subsurface Buoys provide buoyancy for taut mooring instrument packages in coastal ocean waters, bays, rivers, harbors, lakes, and reservoirs. Used with InterOcean Acoustic Releases or Tag Line Recall Systems, these subsurface buoys provide a complete underwater instrument recovery package. The 1800 Aluminum Series of light-weight, rugged and reliable floatation buoys can be used individually or in tandem to provide desired buoyancy for all types of subsurface requirements. Series 3800 Steel Subsurface Buoy InterOcean offers a series of Steel Subsurface Buoys to provide rugged floatation for a variety of offshore and oceanographic applications. These buoys are constructed of steel, leak tested, and painted with marine rated primer and durable epoxy. The 3800 Series Steel Subsurface Buoys are used in deep water deployments demanding higher strength and resistance to collapse pressure. They are also used individually or in tandem in a variety of mooring arrangements where increased recovery buoyancy is required. Surface Buoys InterOcean also provides standard or custom designed Surface Buoys for remote applications. Typically these Surface Buoys contain interface electronics and remote data acquisition/transmission from underwater instruments. For many applications, InterOcean can provide a complete turn-key system. Surface Buoys are typically constructed from steel or aluminum and are suited for specific environmental conditions, and may be foam-filled to prevent capsizing in the event of collision. Foam floatation collars are also available for surface or subsurface applications. Foam floatation collars provide positive buoyancy and are designed for easy installation for special instrument packages. |
Special Designs for Specific Applications such as Radio and Satellite Telemetry, and Through The Ice are also Available |
